HISTORY

The company started manufacturing fibre glass trays in the 1960s and is now the brad leading specialist for this type of tray. The company took its name from the pretty Lake district town as the founder used to spend many holidays there. The company is now based in the Leicester countryside in the heart of England, and exports a high proportion of its output to all over the world through an internation network of distributors and a warehouse operation in the USA. All products are individually had finished by highly trained and dedicated staff.

The main materials used in the process are fibre glass matting, polyester based resin and cotton furnishing fabric which provides the decoration. Fibre glass is used in many applications to building materials to boats and vehicles to many high tech and engeneering and even to aerospace products.
